What we fix, and what it costs.
Every range below is a typical Greater Los Angeles price for parts and labor on that job. Your firm quote comes after we see the car — but you should never have to guess at the order of magnitude.
How to read these numbers. They are estimates, not binding quotes. A range covers the difference between a straightforward job and a complicated one — a seized bolt, a European part, a fault that turns out to be two faults. We confirm a firm price before starting, and we won't exceed it without your say-so.

Ranges assume a standard sedan. The estimator adjusts them for compacts, SUVs, vans, hybrids/EVs and European vehicles. Taxes and shop supplies are not included.
Diagnostics
Check-engine light & diagnostics
We pull the codes, then actually test the circuit the code points at. You get the fault, the fix and the price before any work starts.

Oil & filter change

Safety
Brakes — pads & rotors
Pads, rotors, hardware and a proper bed-in. We measure before we quote, so you only replace what is actually worn.

Comfort
A/C service & repair
An LA car lives or dies by its A/C. We leak-test first — recharging a leaking system just sells you the same repair twice.

Electrical
Battery, alternator & starter
A no-start is three different problems wearing the same costume. We test the charging system before selling you a battery.

Suspension
Tires, balance & alignment
Four-wheel laser alignment and road-force balance. If your car pulls or eats tires on one edge, this is usually why.

Engine
Cooling & overheating
Overheating on the 405 is not a wait-and-see problem. Radiators, water pumps, thermostats, fans and hoses.

- Head-gasket combustion test if indicated

Maintenance
Tune-up & scheduled service
The 30k / 60k / 90k service your manual actually asks for — nothing padded on top of it.

Major engine & transmission
